Order of the World Tree
About the Coven's Tool - The World Tree Staff

In Celtic tradition, the world tree was called the Bilos Tree and it was erected in the center of temple spaces to represent the central axis of the world. In Norse tradition, the center of the world and the path between the planes was located upon the world tree, Yggdrasill. In Hermetic Qabala, the glyph, respresenting all states of being and becoming in the universe, is called the Tree of Life.

Our staff represents the Tree of Life, and world trees in many of its forms. It is the central pillar of the coven.

Like Yggdrasill, the staff is made of ash wood and has various stones representing the elements in the order of their creation.

The staff is currently being created. The photo to the right is the actual sapling chosen with care that is being carved into the Tool.
